The story behind each drop

Niaouli (Melaleuca viridiflora) grows in warm, humid landscapes across Australia, New Caledonia, and Madagascar, where its fresh leaves have long been valued for their clean, protective aroma.

In New Caledonia, Niaouli became deeply connected with everyday plant care. Its leaves were traditionally used to refresh the air, support breathing comfort, and bring a sense of natural protection to the body. When the plant later reached Europe, the French called it Gomenol, a name linked to the region of Gomen in New Caledonia, where Niaouli preparations became well known.

Unlike the sharper clarity of Tea Tree, Niaouli feels gentler and more rounded. Its scent carries a clean herbal freshness with a slightly sweet softness — like green air after rain, clear but not harsh.

A simple ritual

Best for heavy air, seasonal changes, and moments when you want a clean herbal aroma to make your space feel clearer, fresher, and naturally protected.

When you are in a hurry

Quick Inhalation | Add 1 drop of essential oil onto a tissue, handkerchief, or aroma stone. Hold it around an arm’s length away, take a slow breath, and let the scent gently bring you back to the present moment.

Note: Avoid applying undiluted essential oil directly onto the skin.

When you will be staying in the same space for a while

Aroma Diffuser / Burner | Add 8–10 drops of essential oil to every 100ml of water to create a clean aromatic atmosphere and purify the air around you.
